Visiting the Brown University Neuroscience Graduate Program
Brown University campus is located on the picturesque College Hill in Providence, Rhode Island. The Neuroscience Graduate Program offices are situated in Sidney Frank Hall at 185 Meeting Street.

T.F. Green Airport is located in Warwick, Rhode Island, about 10 miles south of Providence. Aero-Airport Limousine Service provide regularly scheduled service between T.F. Green Airport and Brown University. The service runs daily from 5 am to 11 pm with a stop at the airport on the hour and Brown’s Faunce Arch at 27 minutes past every hour. The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) commuter rail also runs from T.F. Green Airport to the Providence train station.
Both Amtrak and MBTA services travel through the Providence Train Station. Brown University campus is located approximately 1 mile from the station and can be reached on foot or by taxi. The Amtrak station code is PVD.
The Grayhound Bus terminal is located in Kennedy Plaza, a bus service hub, in the center of Providence. The Peter Pan Bus terminal is located north of downtown Providence, but offers many stops at Kennedy Plaza. The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) also provides bus and trolley services in and around the Providence area.
From the North or South on Interstate 95:
Take Exit 22 to Downtown Providence. Continue straight on Memorial Boulevard, turn left onto Washington Street at the fourth set of traffic lights. At the top of the hill, turn left onto Brown Street and continue two blocks to Meeting Street. The Sidney Frank Hall is located on the corner of Brown and Meeting Street.
From the East on Interstate 195:
Take Exit 2 to South Main Street continue for half a mile until the second set of traffic lights. Turn right onto Waterman Street. At the top of the hill, turn left onto Brown Street and continue two blocks to Meeting Street. The Sidney Frank Hall is located on the corner of Brown and Meeting Street.
From the Northwest:
Follow Route 146 to I-95 South then follow the directions above.
Visitors may find parking on the streets in and around campus, or in the Visitors Parking lot on Brook St. behind Minden Hall - at the intersection of Brook St. and Waterman St.
